Optimaana

Optimaana is a sci-fi zelda-like game inspired by Secret of Mana, Crystalis and of course, The Legend of Zelda. Where Optimaana is unique is in her procedural generation of worlds. Players enter a six-letter world code upon creating a game. This world code is used to randomly generate the overworld and dungeons. Entering the same code, even on different platforms, will generate the same world. As a player you can enjoy a different game every time you play, or perhaps you are going for a speed run and you’ll enter the same code so you know all the secrets.

One way to procedurally generate a game like this is to randomly select and arrange the pre-fabricated rooms. Optimaana doesn’t take that easy road. Every tile of the game is actually randomly generated. We want this game to be a true surprise each time it is played!
